Reiki as Support for Cancer Patients

Studies have shown Reiki is an effective modality for reducing pain, depression and anxiety for cancer patients, and it is increasingly reported to ease the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation, enhance positive emotional attitude, and ease anxiety. This session will cover the use of Reiki for cancer patients.

Healthcare professionals protect the health, safety, and rights of their patients. Patient abandonment happens when that relationship is terminated without making reasonable arrangements for further care. This session will identify the circumstances under which a clinician can be brought up on legal charges.
